2008 Course Registration
Below we present information about tuition and accommodations and a registration form for you to send along with your check.

FEES & PAYMENT INFORMATION
- Tuition fees for the two-week Homebuilding course are $1,150 per person, $2,100 per couple. Tuition fees for all one-week workshops are $600 per person, $1,100 per couple. Tuition fees for the three-day workshops are $380 per person, $700 per couple. Tuition fee for the two-day logging workshop is $275 per person. Tuition fee for the one-day workshops is $135 per person.
- All tuition fees include lunches and course materials, except for the Build Your Own Workbench course, where you have the option of taking your workbench home for an additional $125 materials fee.
- Payment must be made by check or money order, payable to Heartwood School. Sorry, no credit cards accepted. A $200 deposit per person is required for the two-week course, a $100 deposit per person for all other workshops. A statement with balance due and other information will be sent to you upon receipt of your registration. The balance is due two weeks prior to the beginning of class. If we don't receive final payment by then, we will offer your place to someone on the waiting list.
- All course deposits are refundable minus $50 up until four weeks prior to the class, after which it may be put toward another class during the same calendar year if you cancel.
- The couples rate applies to two people using the same registration form and taking the same course. Invite family, friends, or colleagues to join you for a Heartwood course.
- COURSE DISCOUNTS: Students taking more than one 3-day, one-week or two-week course in the same calendar year may deduct $50 per person from the tuition fee for the second course, and $100 per person from the tuition fee for the third and subsequent courses. Discounts do not apply to one- or two-day courses.
ACCOMMODATIONS
- Local accommodations and meals (with the exception of weekday lunches) are arranged by students individually. There are several hotels, campgrounds and bed-and-breakfast houses nearby that offer special weekly rates for those attending Heartwood (averaging $50 per night for a B&B). Upon receipt of your registration, we will send you a list of housing options with prices and reservation information.
