Lizabeth Moniz

Having always been a curious and experiential learner, Lizabeth Moniz has explored many things in her life. Two of her constants though, have been wood and plants. A carpenter by trade, she has built many projects from tables to houses. She has also taught many different classes with varied populations and ages including woodworking, timber framing, furniture building and carpentry, with Green Mountain College, Women Build, The Carpenter's Boat Shop, Peace Corps, and Yestermorrow Design/Build School. Great days include walking in the forest amongst the trees, hand planing with a perfectly sharp plane, or body-surfing in non shark-infested waters.
